Roles and Responsibilities

Bayslope is an ISO-certified company focused on assisting businesses and clients to maximize their innovation potential through a range of Intellectual Property (IP) services. We are a strong team of techno-legal professionals working towards delivering exceptional quality to the clients.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand invention disclosure documents independently, conduct interviews with inventors/attorneys to clarify doubts related to the invention, and write patent applications that can be filed at USPTO and other major jurisdictions (e.g., India and EP). If you have written patent drafts earlier and keen to take your skills to next level, then this is an opportunity for you. The selected candidate will get an opportunity to work with experts in the domain and will get exposed to some of the latest technologies across a variety of industries.

Who can apply

– B.Tech/M.Tech preferably in ECE/CS/IT/Electrical domain from top tier institutes.

– At least 1 year of experience in patent drafting role

– Must understand US patent laws

– Must have written at least 8-10 patent applications for US clients

– Must be technically sound with strong written and verbal communication skills

– Experience in interviewing inventors for discussing invention disclosures

Looking to hire candidates who can be a part of our ‘Patent Preparation and Prosecution’ team

Qualities we are looking for:

– Candidates with good grip on various technologies such as artificial intelligence, block chain, cloud computing, quantum computing and other hi-tech related topics.

– Should be able to independently do at least one of: drafting or prosecution projects. Or with minimal support

– Should be able to interact with inventors, researchers and ask the right kind of questions

– Should have basic knowledge of USPTO requirements.

– Should be able to hold interview with inventors and his team
