Each patent has a different monetization tag attached to it. To identify what works best for a patent’s monetization, it is important to understand the composition of the patent portfolio. Bayslope conducts a quick, comprehensive screening of the portfolio and demarcates patents based on the relevant market and technology buckets. This helps devise monetization strategies. Typically, the classification helps analyze which patent(s) must be sold/ licensed and which ones should be asserted/ litigated. It also helps weed out low value patents that can be abandoned, thus saving our clients renewal expenditure.
